Happy New Year fam! 2019 was a blast. So many great trips and memories. Here’s hoping 2020 will be equally as great.

Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Blurring Powder Foundation

I’m not usually a powder foundation person, in fact, this is my first. I picked this up on a whim and haven’t been disappointed. It also pairs nicely with the Kosas Tinted Oil Foundation. It’s matte, but not cakey. It’s great for touching up your face.

Harry Josh Pro Dryer 2000

Ninety-nine percent of the time I let my hair air dry. But every once in a while, when I need to dry my hair quickly, I pull out this dryer. It is a bit of an investment (although it’s cheaper than some other ones on the market), but it gets the job done in a short amount of time without damaging my hair.

Homeostick Lip Balm

J’adore ce baume à lèvres. This is one of my favorite lip balms. It’s affordable and moisturizing – what more can you ask of a lip balm? The downside, however, is that it can be a bit tricky to get your hands on stateside. But Amazon has it sometimes. However, if you ever find yourself in a pharmacy in France, definitely grab one (and one for me too).

Farmacy Honey Butter Lip Balm

I originally went into Sephora to repurchase another lip balm, but they were out. A sales associate recommended I give this one a try and I’m glad I listened because I like it even more than the other one. And it’s cheaper too! Will definitely repurchase.

iS Clinical Cleansing Complex

Shani Darden, esthetician to the stars, has been recommending this cleanser forever. And guys…this is probably one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I can see why Shani is a fan. It’s so gentle and effective, leaving your skin supple and soft.

Amuse Society Stevie Triangle Top and Dawn High Hip Bottoms

I got this before my last trip to Thailand cause I was going to islands in the South. It has since moved to the top of my list of favorite bikinis. It’s high waisted, so it does give you a bit more coverage, but it doesn’t feel dowdy.

Kosas Tinted Face Oil Foundation

I’m a bit obsessed with this foundation. I get so many compliments whenever I wear this.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

I actually went to one of their LA launches and got a free tube to test out. But I kinda forgot about it and didn’t reach for it until months later when my skin went a bit berserk. And ever since, it’s been a staple in my skincare regimen.

iS Clinical Youth Eye Complex

This is another Shani Darden recommendation. My mom always admonishes me for not using eye cream, but until now, I have never found any that I remotely liked.

Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup

John Carreyrou chronicles the incredible, as in not credible, rise and fall of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. It was riveting and difficult to put down. After I finished the book, I watched the 20/20 special and the HBO documentary. The book was far superior, but the specials were great companion pieces.

Urban Outfitters Lindsey Cap-Sleeve Midi Dress

I bought this last minute for my friend’s reception cocktail. I’ve seen it a couple of times whenever I was inside an Urban Outfitters but thought I could never pull off a cap-sleeve. On a whim, I tried it on anyway and immediately fell in love with it. Love the cut-out back and sexy leg slit.

Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream

Sometimes you try a product and know immediately that it works for you. This was one of those times. It’s rich, but not greasy. And thanks to the hyaluronic acid and squalane, it’s deeply moisturizing. I will definitely be repurchasing this and perhaps look at other products in the Biossance line as well.

Surratt Brow

If the brow guru, Kristie Streicher, herself recommends a product, you would be wise to take note. I can see why Kristie likes this pencil so much, the tip is sharp enough to make precision individual hair-like strokes. And the formula results in a realistic-looking brow.
