Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday

“No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.” – Aesop

Happy Giving Tuesday! We are still living in a panorama, so if you are fortunate enough to have the means to be able to give, please do. However, monetary donations aren’t the only way to give back, you can also give the gift of time or service by volunteering or donating goods.

The fashion world is still reeling from the recent loss of Virgil Abloh to cancer. If you want to give towards something that was near and dear to his heart, consider the Virgil Abloh “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund. In 2020, Abloh saw the need to champion equity and inclusion among the underrepresented talent in the fashion industry. The fund provides opportunities and mentorships for the next generation of Black fashion leaders.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit dedicated to providing support and resources for people struggling with mental health issues.

There are over 30,000 children in the LA County child welfare system. CASA LA aims to improve the lives of foster children through one-on-one advocacy. You can donate to their cause or volunteer to become a court-appointed special advocate.

Help World Central Kitchen serve fresh meals to communities in need by donating today. Also in honor of Giving Tuesday, all donations made this week will be doubled.

Apex for Youth is on a mission to provide mentoring for Asian and immigrant youth from low-income families in New York City, one of the city’s most ignored and underserved communities. In addition to donating, you can also volunteer to mentor or tutor students from grades 1st-12th.
